Favre has got Dortmund playing some of the most exciting football in Europe. He has found the right balance in the team, capable of sitting deep and play on the counter-attack. Dortmund also has the right type of players to dictate the tempo of the game.

Achraf Hakimi and Raphael Guerreiro are the key outlets in the final third for BVB. The two full-backs provide in the final third and also have a good knack of coming up with goals. Die Roten will have to make sure that both full-back don’t get enough freedom while going forward.

Julian Brandt has been in good form since football has resumed. He can execute the killer passes in the final third with ease. Favre will be hoping that Jadon Sancho is fit to start against Die Roten. The attacking trio of Sancho, Brandt, and Thorgan Hazard will create a lot of problems for Bayern’s defense.

Marco Reus will miss the game, but his absence has not been felt due to the good form of Erlin Braut Haaland. Die Roten will have to be at their best to restrict Dortmund’s attacking play. The midfielders will have a big role to play in breaking up the rhythm of BVB’s rhythm on the break.
