Opposition Focus

Union Berlin has been a surprise package this season. In their debut season, against all odds, they have done fairly well to stay far away from relegation zone. The highlight of their season remains the 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in front of the home support.

Die Roten cannot afford to be complacent on Sunday, as the hosts are capable of sparking an upset. The support of home fans will make the atmosphere less hostile, but Berlin will be a tough team to break down.

Fischer will be looking to keep a compact shape and beat Die Roten on the counter. The Bavarians will have to win the midfield battle to make sure that they return home with three points. Sebastian Andersson will be the key man for the home side in the attack. The Swedish forward has scored 11 goals in the league for Union Berlin.

In terms of creating chances, Christopher Trimmel will be the main man for Fischer’s team. Trimmel has seven assists to his name in the Bundesliga this season. Union Berlin will be a threat going forward, but Die Roten should be able to breach their defense as they have conceded 41 goals in the league.

Score Prediction

Union Berlin 0-3 Bayern Munich

Considering the struggles of Union Berlin in 2020, Bayern should be able to complete a routine victory on Sunday. With team finding their feet on the pitch after a long break, Die Roten will not make it a goal-fest, but I am still backing them to win by a three-goal margin.
