Bayern Munich will have to overcome a few challenges for a smooth ending to the Bundesliga campaign.

The Bundesliga campaign is back. After a long break due to coronavirus pandemic, Germany is set to become the first European country to resume footballing action. Bayern Munich is set to continue their pursuit of retaining the Bundesliga title.

DFL confirmed on Thursday that league games would kick off from next weekend. The football association got the green light from the German government on Wednesday. Die Roten will face Union Berlin on May 17 in their first game since March 8. The competition is expected to end by mid-June.

All games are set to be played behind closed doors and under strict medical supervision. The world and the rest of the leagues will be keeping a close eye on how Bundesliga smoothly functions during a pandemic. Sporting wise, many things are yet to be decided, so the competition needed to be resumed.

It is a big boost for football fans that Bundesliga will resume next weekend. However, every club will be facing challenges after such a long break in competitive football. Bayern and Hansi Flick will also have their own set of challenges and problems to tackle during this one month. Here are the key challenges Die Roten will have to overcome in the next four weeks for a sweet ending to the season.
