Bayern Munich can look at one of the four right-back options in the summer transfer window.

There has been a lot of paper talk in Germany surrounding summer transfer plans of Bayern Munich. The defending Bundesliga champions are expected to spend big despite the effect of coronavirus pandemic on the transfer market.

Die Roten are reportedly going to improve their attacking options in summer. Philippe Coutinho is expected to go back to Barcelona after an inconsistent one-year loan spell at the club. Meanwhile, the German club reportedly wants to permanently sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.

Apart from attack, Rekordmeister may also go back to addressing the defensive department of the squad. Bayern broke their transfer record last summer to bring Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid to improve the shaky defense. Benjamin Pavard also arrived at the club from VfB Stuttgart in summer.

After these two acquisitions, Die Roten need a right-back to provide cover and competition to Pavard. Moreover, the French defender prefers playing in the heart of the defense. Joshua Kimmich is unlikely to move back in defense after an impressive campaign in central midfield. Here are four right-back options Bayern can look at in the summer to add quality and depth to this position.
