Three youth players that can make the next step and impress for the first team at Bayern Munich next season.

Bayern Munich has a rich history of integrating youth players into the first team. At the start of the 21st century, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Philipp Lahm came through the academy and went on to become important players for Die Roten and the German national team.

During the 2009-11 spell under Louis Van Gaal, Rekordmeister promoted some impressive young players from the reserves team. Thomas Muller and David Alaba followed this procedure and established themselves as integral members of the first team. Both players have delivered consistent performances in the last ten years and remain an integral part of the team going forward.

Toni Kroos also enjoyed an incredibly good spell at Bayern youth team and senior team before moving to Real Madrid in 2014. The German midfielder has established himself as one of the best midfielders of his generations. His transfer to the Spanish club is one of the biggest mistakes Die Roten has done in the transfer market.

In the latter half of the last decade, Rekordmeister has failed to integrate young players in the first team. The club has been aggressive with the recruitment process at the youth level in the past couple of windows, so it is time to give these young players an opportunity with the senior team. Since coronavirus is set to impact the transfer market, here are three youth players that can make a big impact in the first team next season.
