Bayern Munich have endured mixed fortune in performances of players signed in the 2019 summer transfer window.

There is still no clear idea about when the summer transfer window will open in 2020 due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Bayern Munich works in advance on transfer targets every season as they are likely to continue the second phase of the rebuild of the squad this summer.

In the first phase of the rebuild last summer, Die Roten were not able to land their first-choice targets in few positions. The club still managed to sign five players by the end of the window at the start of September 2019.

However, every transfer has not gone the way Die Roten would have hoped for. Some have managed to make a consistent impact, while few struggled for consistency. Moreover, a change of coach midway through the season has also not exactly helped the cause of new players.

More than two-thirds of the season was done when coronavirus lead to suspension of competitive football. The sample space is big enough to make a judgement on the debut season of every summer transfer Rekordmeister completed last year. Here is the complete breakdown of every player that arrived in Bavaria last summer.
