Bayern Munich needs to change a few things to improve next season and deliver better results than the 2019/20 season.

There is growing uncertainty surrounding the current campaign. Bayern Munich started training in small groups this week, but the club and players don’t know when they will play competitive football. The situation in Europe continues to remain critical, raising doubts about the completion of the 2019/20 season.

Die Roten were enjoying an upward trajectory when football came to a halt. The defending Bundesliga champions were peaking at the right time in the season. Hansi Flick had got the team playing on the front foot, dominating football across all competitions.

Since Bayern were going into the knockout of the Champions League on a strong note, there were very good chances of them going all the way in the competition. The German club already had one foot in the quarter-finals after demolishing Chelsea in the first leg of the round of 16 at Stamford Bridge. They were also slowly moving in the driving seat to retain the league title and DFB Pokal.

Despite the recent upturn in the form, it has not been an ideal season for Bavarians. The first half of the season was poor by the high standards set by Bayern. Here are three things Die Roten need to implement to enjoy a consistent 2020/21 campaign.
