Five Bayern Munich players that have been consistent this season and have been unsung heroes of the team.

The season is yet to finish, but Bayern Munich has made a remarkable recovery after a disappointing first half of the season. Die Roten have gone back to the top of the Bundesliga table, and looked certain to play in the quarterfinals and semi-finals of the Champions League and DFB Pokal, respectively.

Some obvious names have propelled Rekordmeister’s season. Robert Lewandowski has been a goal machine, scoring staggering 40 goals across all competitions, while Serge Gnabry has taken his game to the next level by finding consistency in the final third.

Thomas Muller has been a creative force, while Thiago Alcantara has been the midfield maestro for the defending Bundesliga champions. Alphonso Davies has been a revelation in the full-back position, going up and down the left flank, contributing at both ends of the pitch.

All these players have been stars of the team, contributing directly to the success of the teams by scoring or creating goals. Apart from them, few players have quietly gone about their job and delivered performances week in week out. So, let us shed some light on their performances.
