A new era is destined to begin for Bayern Munich should they manage to sign their top transfer targets.

Bayern Munich, like many other clubs, has always followed a sane transfer strategy. The dawn of the current season promised several new faces to arrive in Munich. A few crucial transfers were left hanging in the air due to unforeseen circumstances.

Die Roten, nevertheless, played smart to strengthen their squad. Proven talents like Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic were procured on loan. The club also saw young blood pumped into the system. French trio of Lucas Hernandez, Benjamin Pavard, and Michael Cuisance completed their transfers to Bayern.

The current campaign presents another unprecedented challenge. The novel coronavirus has taken a major toll on medical and economic health around the globe. Football has suffered as a result. Unquestionably, there is bound to be a huge impact on the books for all football teams. The early suspects of a tough transfer window in 2020 do carry some weight. While the teams will struggle to flex their financial muscles, one can also expect a drop in player fees across continents.

Rekordmeister does have several players who are on the verge of seeing out their contracts. Amidst the transfer speculation surrounding a few of them, Die Roten can balance their books by offloading some aging members of the squad.

The stars of the previous decade, namely Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Arjen Robben, and Franck Ribery made Bayern one of the most revered football clubs in the world. The time has come for Bayern to begin another revolution and declare themselves as the world’s best. The results since Hansi Flick took over has left no stone unturned to give him a contract extension.

With Flick in charge, this is how Bayern can line up next season.
