On the occasion of April fools day, here are five worst signings for Bayern Munich in this century.

Bayern Munich are known to execute transfer plans effectively. Over the years, they have been good at spotting talent and making them huge success over the years. Die Roten also have a good habit of unearthing gems in the transfer market. Players such as Joshua Kimmich are proof of their clever transfer approach.

Apart from signing young players, the Bavarians have also been ruthless in the transfer market. They have been signing top players from the Bundesliga clubs, making sure that players need very little time to adapt to the Bundesliga. Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze, and Leon Goretzka are some of the players that Die Roten signed from Bundesliga clubs.

Having said that, just like every other club, Rekordmeister has also suffered failures in the transfer market. They also have regretted signing some players as they struggled to live up to expectations and couldn’t justify the transfer fee paid for them.

Some players struggled with injuries, while others just couldn’t take their game to the next level. On the occasion of April fools day, let us have a look at some of the worst signings Bayern has made in this century.
