Bayern Munich have many world-class players in the squad, but few have consistently delivered clutch performances this season.

It has not been a vintage season for Bayern Munich. The record Bundesliga champions had a shaky start to the campaign as they succumbed to a 2-0 loss against Borussia Dortmund in DFL Supercup. The start to the Bundesliga was also poor as they dropped points against Hertha Berlin at Allianz Arena.

There were solid performances under Niko Kovac this campaign, including the historic 7-2 win over Tottenham Hotspurs. However, players and Kovac couldn’t find consistency in their performances. Eventually, the Croatian manager had to pay the price as he parted ways with the club at the end of October.

Hansi Flick’s arrival brought things back to normality at Bayern. The defending league champions started collecting wins consistently and started climbing the table. After the winter break, Die Roten has been the in-form team in Europe as they are yet to lose a game in 2020.

Despite a rollercoaster season till now, there have been some players in the current Bayern squad that have come up with clutch performances. Here are the top five Bayern players that delivered top performances when odds were stacked against the team.
