Corentin Tolisso

Corentin Tolisso is likely to be the most expensive departure in this list. The German reports suggest that Bayern will be open to listening offers for the French midfielder in summer. Tolisso is currently struggling to get regular playing time, so a move away from Bayern will also benefit him.

Bayern currently have enough quality and depth in central midfield. Joshua Kimmich has established himself as first-choice holding midfielder this summer. Thiago Alcantara is back to his best while Leon Goretzka is also getting better after an injury layoff. Die Roten have promising young midfielders in Adrian Fein and Mickael Cuisance.

In such a scenario, Die Roten can afford to allow Tolisso to leave the club in summer. The French midfielder is reportedly attracting interest from numerous Italian clubs. Bayern will be hoping there is a bidding war for Tolisso so that they can get a hefty transfer fee for him.

Tolisso still has the potential to become a world-class midfielder. However, a serious knee injury has halted his progress. Bayern may regret offloading him in summer, but they are well covered in midfield and need to raise funds to sign top forwards. Tolisso’s departure can be compensated in summer and help Bayern in balancing books.
