Samuel Chukwueze

Samuel Chukwueze was one of the best young wingers in Europe last season. However, this season his form has took a hit, and the output in the final third has been below par. The Nigerian forward has still shown flashes of quality during this campaign.

Chukwueze has the right amount of pace for a wide player, and his dribbling creates havoc in the final third. The 20-year-old forward can beat a full-back by taking him to the touchline and also can get the better of him by cutting inside from the left flank.

The Nigerian forward’s best position is on the right side of a front three. Despite a poor campaign that has yielded just three goals and one assist in La Liga, Chukwueze has already been linked with a move to Liverpool. (Stats courtesy: Whoscored)

Bayern will benefit from having a winger such as Chukwueze in their squad. The current squad has many players that do well on the left flank, but no one provides a consistent output on the right flank. Chukwueze can be a bargain option for this role and can turn out to be a clever signing if Die Roten decides to allocate a bigger chunk of funds to other positions in the squad.
