Ismaila Sarr

Watford delivered one of the strangest results of this season two weeks ago as they became the first Premier League side to beat Liverpool. Ismaila Sarr was the hero for Watford in their 3-0 wins over the Merseyside club at Vicarage Road.

Sarr joined Watford for a club-record fee last summer. The Senegalese forward took time to get used to Premier League before regularly featuring in the starting XI. His blistering pace makes it difficult for the full-backs to track him, and his dribbling skills make him unpredictable in the final third. In 19 appearances, he has contributed to eight goals in the Premier League. (Stats Courtesy: Whoscored)

The 22-year-old winger primarily plays on the right flank, but he can also be deployed as a false nine and left-winger. Sarr still has rough edges in his game. However, there are no doubts about his potential to become an explosive and all-round wide forward.

Watford finds themselves just above the relegation. If football resumes and they fail to stay in the top division, then Bayern can get Sarr for a decent fee. Since Bayern is trying to add x-factor to their attack, Sarr becomes a perfect backup option if they fail to sign Sane from Manchester City.
