Lewis Dunk

Lewis Dunk is possibly the most out of the box option for Bayern. The English defender is one of the best central defenders in the Premier League. Dunk has been a consistent player for Brighton since the club got promotion in 2017.

Dunk has the perfect physical frame to come out on top in physical duels against robust forwards. He also has the right amount of pace to compete against rapid strikers. Most importantly, he is a cultured defender on the ball, having a great eye for aerial passes across the pitch.

The English defender is yet to receive a call up from England national team, but sooner rather than later, he is likely to get a chance under Gareth Southgate. Brighton are struggling in the league at the moment, but they have a solid defender and leader in Dunk to make sure that they avoid relegation this term.

Dunk can turn out to be a financially feasible option for Die Roten if Brighton get relegated from the Premier League. However, there will be a lot of competition for him from English clubs. He will be a smart pickup for Bayern as his style of play is very close to that of Boateng.
