Five things to watch out for on Sunday as Bayern Munich entertain Augsburg in the Bundesliga.

The games are coming thick and fast for Bayern Munich. After sealing a spot in the semi-finals of DFB Pokal by beating Schalke on Tuesday, Die Roten turn their attention to the Bundesliga this weekend. The Bavarians will be hosting Augsburg on Sunday.

Bayern have been in scintillating form in the Ruckrunde. The defending Bundesliga champions are yet to lose a game in 2020, and they have dropped points only once against RB Leipzig. Rekordmeister replicated their good league performance in the Champions League last week by handsomely beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Augsburg are facing Bayern at the worst possible time. Sunday’s visitors have been struggling in the league for the last two months as they have lost six out of their last eight league games. Even after this miserable form, they find themselves above the relegation zone. They need to arrest this slump, or else it will be very difficult to stay in the Bundesliga.

Die Roten are expected to comfortably clinch a victory against Augsburg on Sunday. Die Roten will have more pressure to perform with Leipzig having a chance to go level on points a day before. Apart from the team’s performance, here are the few things to look forward to in the matchday 25 of the Bundesliga.
