Alexandre Lacazette

It has been a disappointing stay in London for Alexandre Lacazette. The French striker was one of the most lethal strikers in Europe during his time at Lyon. However, things have not gone exactly his way during his time with Gooners.

Lacazette is now struggling to get regular playing time under Mikel Arteta. The French striker is behind Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Eddie Nketiah in the number nine role. Moreover, his numbers in front of the goal have been underwhelming this season, scoring just eight goals across all competitions. (Stats courtesy: Whoscored)

The French striker is in the prime years of his career, so a change of scenery may help him to get back to his best. When he is on song, the Frenchman can effectively link-up play in the box and score a wide range of goals, from screamers to normal poachers’ goals.

Bayern is unlikely to allocate a big fee for a backup striker in summer if they decide to sign one. A permanent move for Lacazette may be a costly one for the Bavarians. If the German club manages to get him on loan with an option to buy, then it will be a handy pick up as he has all the qualities that will suit to Die Roten’s style of play.
