Five backup strikers options for Bayern Munich in summer
Jamie Vardy
Everyone loves a good story in football, and none gets better than that of Jamie Vardy. The English striker climbed through the lower divisions of English football to eventually lead Leicester City to Premier League title in 2016.
Leicester has not reached those heights again, but Vardy has been scoring goals for fun in the Premier League since that season. The Englishman is leading the goal-scoring stat in the English league this season.

Vardy is at his best, when the ball is fed in those channels as he has a great amount of pace. The English striker is a lethal forward in a counter-attacking setup, but he has adapted well under a possession-based system under Brendan Rodgers. On his day, he is a proper nuisance for opposition defenders in the box.
The English striker will turn 34 next season, but he is showing no signs of slowing down. Bayern dominate possession in most of the games, but a fast forward such as Vardy will be very handy in breaking down deep blocks. He can play as a lone striker or also form a very good partnership with Lewandowski. Vardy reportedly rejected a move to Arsenal in the past, but a move to Bavaria will provide him to script another chapter in his exciting football journey till now.
