Robert Lewandowski’s sizzling form

Bayern Munich currently has the best number nine of the world in their starting XI. Robert Lewandowski has been a goal machine this season, and he has shown no signs of slowing down after the winter break.

Lewandowski scored goals for fun in the past few seasons too, but there is a notable change in his game. The Polish striker is working hard for the team and influences the game even when he is not finding the back of the net. His linkup play and passes in the final third has been crisp this season, making him a complete number nine.

The Pole has been heavily criticized in previous seasons for not turning up in big games. This season he is making sure that the critics are quiet by taking his game to one level up in big games. He has been doing well in big Bundesliga games and also found the back of the net in the games against Tottenham Hotspurs in the group stage.

Lewandowski’s goal exploits will provide Bayern an edge over their opponents. Considering his performances have improved in big games, Die Roten should be more than confident about beating any side in the competition.
