Bayern Munich will be looking to get back to winning ways when they travel away to Cologne on Sunday.

It has been a good few weeks for Bayern Munich in Ruckrunde. The defending champions have cruised past their opponents in the league until they hosted RB Leipzig last weekend. The two title contenders played out an intense draw, having no effect at the top of the league table.

Hansi Flick has been impressive with his tactics and management after the winter break. He has worked on the pressing of the team, which is one of the many reasons behind their recent good form. The German manager will be hoping that his teams bounce from last weekend’s result when they face Cologne on Sunday.

FC Cologne has enjoyed a resurgence under Markus Gisdol, winning four of their past five Bundesliga games. Apart from a blip against Borussia Dortmund, Cologne has been delivering quality performances that may eventually help them to stay up.

Bayern cruised to an emphatic victory when these two sides met at Allianz Aren in the first half of the season. However, this time it could be a close encounter since both are two of the most in-form teams in the Bundesliga.
