More goalscorers

Bayern Munich and Bundesliga is currently witnessing a phenomenal season from Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker is enjoying the best season of his career, scoring 35 goals across all competitions. He is leading the Bundesliga charts for goal scoring with 22 goals to his name.

Lewandowski had carried Die Roten during the first half of the season. The team relied heavily on him for goals as other forwards were going through a poor run of form. Bayern struggled to find the back of the net when the Pole was having a poor game by his standards.

Things have changed in Ruckrunde, though. Lewandowski is still scoring goals for fun, but he is not the sole source of goals for Bayern. The Polish striker has scored only three goals out of twelve goals that Die Roten have scored in four league games. Thiago, Leon Goretzka, and Muller have chipped in with goals while Ivan Perisic was threatening to become a potential good goalscoring option before his injury.

Bayern will be much more dynamic if they continue to get goals from players across the pitch. Lewandowski is a phenomenal striker, but Die Roten cannot rely on him in every game despite his brilliant consistency. Handy contributions from other forwards and midfielders will make Die Roten an even more dangerous team in Europe.
