Bayern Munich will resume competitive football against Hertha Berlin at Olympiastadion Berlin on Sunday.

After a long winter break, the Bundesliga is set to return this weekend. There are many interesting games in the league later today. Bayern Munich will kickoff new year with an way trip to Hertha Berlin on Sunday. Jurgen Klinsmann will face Bayern for the first time in his managerial career.

Bayern Munich had a very fruitful end to 2019 as they climbed up places in league table after three consecutive league wins. Most pleasing aspect about these wins was that Die Roten showed ruthlessness and character to dig deep to clinch wins. Hansi Flick will be hoping that his team maintains this momentum and deliver a complete performance against Hertha Berlin.

For Klinsmann, it has been a mixed start at Hertha Berlin. The capital side has collected eight points in five games under his leadership. They desperately need wins to climb up the table as they currently languish at 12th position, four points above relegation zone. Klinsmann will be hoping to get one over his former team, which will also help in boosting the confidence of his team.
