Bayern Munich begin their Ruckrunde against a rejuvenated Hertha BSC in matchday 18 of the Bundesliga 2019/20

It was a pleasant end to Hinrunde for Bayern Munich. The defending champions clinched three league wins in a row. The victory against Werder Bremen was emphatic, while they had to dig deep to clinch all three points against Freiburg and Wolfsburg.

Among a plethora of differences between Bayern Munich and Hertha BSC after their first meeting this season, both the teams currently share a common trait. Both of them will have new managers in the dugout. It is Hansi Flick against Jurgen Klinsmann.

Bayern travels to the capital city, having tasted a defeat against Nurnberg in their friendly clash during the winter break. On the contrary, the hosts bagged a win against their friendly fixture with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Die Roten needs to go on a long winning run in the second half of the season to retain the Bundesliga title. A strong performance against Klinsmann’s team will set the tone for Ruckrunde.
