Bayern Munich can do with transfers as there are some pressing issues in the current squad.

The January transfer window has started. Clubs look to do business to find a solution to the problems they faced in the first half of the season. Bayern Munich also has some glaring deficiencies in their squad that can be addressed in the winter market.

Apart from squad weaknesses, injuries also force some clubs to look into the market to find the right replacements. Bayern has been enduring injury problems in the past few seasons, and this year has been no different. They have missed many players during hinrunde and set to be without Niklas Sule for the rest of the season.

Die Roten have insisted that they are unlikely to do business in January. This can be a ploy to not increase the transfer fees of their respective targets. The German club is known for concluding deals without any fuss, so it will not be a surprise if they end up signing one player this month. Here are the key positions where Bayern should look to invest in the winter market.
