Right-winger— Arjen Robben

Just like the left-flank, there are no prizes for guessing who will feature on the right side of Bayern’s team of the decade. Arjen Robben, Ribery’s partner in crime, has been one of the most successful signings Die Roten has made in this century.

The Dutchman kept the Bayern fans on the edge of their seat every game despite executing the same but effective trademark move on the right flank. As soon as he got the ball on the right flank, he would cut inside and curl the ball past the goalkeeper.

Robben did struggle with injuries in the second half of this decade, but his influence on the pitch in the first half makes sure that he features in this team. He will be fondly remembered for numerous goals, but the winner he scored at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final will forever be ingrained in every Bayern fan’s heart.

The Dutch winger was just not a scorer of great goals as his productivity in the final third was consistent during the prime years of his career. He announced retirement from football after being released by Bayern last summer. Robben ended his stay in Bavaria with 144 goals in 309 appearances, making him one of the most iconic wingers in Bayern’s history.
