Bayern Munich will travel to Schwarzwald-Stadion in matchday 16 of the Bundesliga to face an impressive Freiburg side.

Following two consecutive league defeats, Bayern Munich recovered in style against Werder Bremen with a thumping six-one victory in their own backyard. Despite conceding the first goal of the game, Hansi Flick’s in-game tinkering paid dividends as Werder Bremen suffered a heavy blow in the aftermath.

Bayern reverted with two quick goals in the penultimate moments of the first half with four more in the second half. They once again showed why they are the reigning champions, living up to their “Mia San Mia” motto.

Die Roten will travel away to Freiburg for the midweek Bundesliga clash on Wednesday. The hosts sit are sixth in the league table, one spot below Bayern. They have managed seven wins out of 15 games compared to the total of eight victories they secured during their previous campaign.
