Bayern Munich set to host Tottenham Hotspurs in the final group game of the Champions League.

The last few days have been difficult for Bayern Munich as they slipped to the seventh position in the Bundesliga. Die Roten conceded a late winner to Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, leaving them six points behind the league leaders. In the previous game week, they suffered defeat against Bayer Leverkusen at Allianz Arena. Hansi Flick’s men will have the chance to get back to winning ways on Wednesday as they host Tottenham Hotspurs in the Champions League.

Bayern have already sealed the top spot in their group. In an ideal world, they would have rotated the starting XI for this game. However, they desperately need a win to get in the right mindset for the upcoming Bundesliga games.

Tottenham Hotspurs also look certain to qualify for the next round of CL. Jose Mourinho is set to make big changes to the line-up, having an eye on the festive fixture list in England. Spurs also had a set-back in the Premier League last week as they suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against Manchester United. The North London side responded well against Burnley on Saturday by registering a 5-0 win.

There have been many changes at both the clubs in November. Both clubs have new managers, and their fortunes in the domestic competitions have not been ideal. Die Roten clinched a historic 7-2 win in London, so one can expect a goal-fest between these two sides on Wednesday. Here are some key battles that will have a big say on the outcome of the clash between Spurs and Bayern.
