Wingers

One can simply not complete Bayern’s best XI without mentioning the mouth-watering partnership of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. While the gamers out there chose Bayern Munich in EA Sport’s FIFA editions often because of Robben and Ribery, it was even better to watch them play live for the Rekordmeister.

Covering the wide areas for Bayern as inverted wingers, the famous combination of Robbery ripped apart the opposition’s defense with their pace, trickery and exceptional goal-scoring abilities.

Their partnership saw a total of 262 goals and 210 assists that brought eight Bundesliga titles for Bayern during their mutual spell of ten years in Bavaria. They also played a key role in Bayern’s 2013 treble-winning campaign with Arjen Robben scoring the winner against Borussia Dortmund in the UCL finals at Wembley. (Stats Courtesy: ESPN)
