Left-back

Performing the defensive duties on the left flank, we include David Alaba in our squad. He made his debut nine years ago, making him Bayern’s youngest ever player in the Bundesliga at that time. Since then, there has been no stopping for Alaba.

A product of Bayern’s youth system, the Austrian has won eight Bundesliga titles so far with four DFB Pokal cups, a UCL title, and FIFA Club World Cup already in his kitty at the age of 27.

With his venom left-foot, Alaba has scored 24 goals for Die Roten, which includes eight free-kicks.  Besides his dangerous free-kicks, Alaba is an epitome of a modern-day overlapping left-back who has 34 assists to his name for the record champions. (Stats courtesy: WhoScored)
