Jann-Fiete Arp

At the age of 19-years old, Jann-Fiete Arp has been previously compared with Die Mannschaft’s legendary goalscorer, Miroslav Klose. The young German prodigy was secured, reportedly, for €2.5 million from HSV.

The forward can play in a central role and can be deployed in the wider positions. Although Arp was not consistent with his performances with Hamburg, the striker was phenomenal in the 2017 U-17 World Cup tournament. He grabbed five goals in five appearances, dragging his team into the quarter-finals. (Stats courtesy: ESPNFC)

Jann-Fiete Arp is an investment for the future, one that has the potential to be lethal in front of goal. The fact that he might have to warm the bench for the majority portion of this season and probably a couple of years ahead, this transfer scores 6/10.
