Bayern Munich travel to Volkswagen Arena to face Wolfsburg on Saturday in the gameweek 31 of Bundesliga.

The Bavarians are on the cusp on a fifth consecutive Bundesliga title going into the final four games of the campaigns. Bayern Munich need a couple of wins to confirm the title as they have an eight points lead over RB Leipzig.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men have suffered a dip in form at the wrong time in season. This has cost them a chance of winning Champions League and DFB Pokal cup. The Bavarians were eliminated from Champions League after an aggregate loss of 6-3 against Real Madrid in quarterfinals. On the other hand they suffered a 3-2 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in DFB Pokal cup semifinals on Wednesday.

The home side are having problems of their own this season. After a season in Champions League they are now on the verge of finishing outside top ten this year. Wolfsburg sit in the 14th place, one point clear of the relegation qualification place.

Team News-

Ancelotti have one competition to concentrate now and he is likely to field a strong eleven till the title is confirmed. The Italian confirmed on Friday that there will be late fitness tests for Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels and David Alaba.

There are no injury problem in the midfield and atttacking department. Manuel Neuer is the only long term absentee for Bayern Munich. Apart from the German goalkeeper, Ancelotti has complete squad to choose from on Saturday.

Predicted XI-

Sven Ulreich will continue to play in goal in absence of Neuer. The back four will probably be rotated as Javi Martinez will be paired with Joshua Kimmich if the Boateng, Hummels and Alaba fail the fitness test. Juan Bernat and Philipp Lahm will occupy the fullback positions.

The midfield will feature Xabi Alonso, Arturo Vidal and Thiago Alcantara. Alonso will probably play all the games now as there is a space of seven days between every Bundesliga game. Kingsley Coman and Douglas Costa are likely to feature in attack and the Robert Lewandowski will lead the line.
