Bayern Munich Contract Renewals Sends A Signal To English Clubs

Bayern Munich can compete with the riches of Premier League as Bayern’s important players continue to renew their contracts.

The club CEO Karl Heinz Rummenigge admitted that the club is in good position as the key players continue to believe in the project. Bayern Munich are one of the most attractive clubs in the world but the finance in Premier League is attracting more players.

The English clubs are benefitting from the new multi-billion pound deal. Rummenigge is believes that the recent contract renewals sends the correct signals to English clubs. The German giants wants to ensure that they still remain an attraction for young talent.

"“We wanted to send a signal in particular that the players who are important to us will under no circumstances move to England.”“Bayern have obviously put enough euros on the table to encourage their key players to stay.”"

Bayern Munich have tied down several important players over the last 12 months. The German trio of Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng and Thomas Muller have pledged their best years to the club by signing long term deals.

Robert Lewandowski became the latest player to sign an extension. The Polish striker has been subject to interest from big European clubs. Bayern also handed out one year extensions to the veterans Franck Ribery and Rafinha last month.

The Bavarians have been successful in domestic campaigns in past five years. They have also won the Champions League once in this period along with reaching the last four at almost every occasion. This achievements along with proper administration has helped them to enjoy success financially. It also helps them in attracting players to continue their progress.

Bayern Munich are optimistic that they can get Arjen Robben to sign a new deal quickly. The Bavarians go into the winter break with a three point lead at the top of the table in Bundesliga. They are also through to the last 16 stages of Champions League this season till now.
