Team News

Carlo Ancelloti will have a full fit squad to select only for Franck Ribery to miss out due to muscle tear. The Italian will field a strong lineup similar to the team that faced PSV. The Bayern manager has suffered when he has rotated the squad in the league games. He admitted that Arjen Robben will feature in the lineup on Saturday after a strong game against PSV Eindhoven.

"“Other than Franck Ribery, who will start training individually next week, everyone is fit for Gladbach.”“We are so happy to have Arjen Robben back. He is very important for the team with his experience. He will start tomorrow.”"

Bayern were boosted with the return of the players like Javi Martinez, Douglas Costa and Holger Badstuber against PSV. The Brazilian was also able to get few minutes on the pitch against the Dutch side. The injury problems are slowly clearing out for the new manager.

Opposition Focus-

Gladbach come into the game with a comfortable 2-0 win ove Celtic in Champions League. The visitors have failed to score in their last two Bundesliga games against Hamburg and Schalke. They have been going through an injury crisis as their key players like Thorgan Hazard have been out with injuries.

The Foals were have been very good against Bayern Munich in past four encounters. They handed Bayern a 3-1 defeat at their home while earned a point in the return fixture. Andre Schubert play a very active pressing game and try to beat the opponents on the counter. Bayern need their back four to concentrate against Mönchengladbach.

Gladbach will miss their attacking duo of Thorgan Hazard and Raffael on Saturday. The midfield pair of Cristoph Kramer and Mahmoud Dahoud will be crucial for the away side. Dahoud along with Lars Stindlt will cause Bayern some problems while going forward.

Prediction- Bayern Munich 2-1 Borussia Mönchengladbach

The Bavarians have showed defensive fratilities in the league this term so they will not be able to keep a cleansheet. On the other hand with the lethal forwards getting back to their goalscoring form the home side will surely outscore Gladbach.
