Bayern Munich prepare to host Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven at Allianz Arena in the Champions League group stage game in matchday three.
The German Champions currently sit second in the group,three points behind Atletico Madrid. Bayern Munich will be looking to get back to winning ways after a defeat to table toppers in matchday two. A win would help them to fight for the first position in the group.
On the other hand PSV are third with one point. The Dutch team suffered a defeat to Atletico Madrid and held for a draw by FC Rostov. Bayern hold an upper hand in the head to head results till now. With home advantage Carlo Ancelloti will be lookinhg to get back in form after recent slump.

Bayern Munich fielded a different team against Frankfurt on weekend due to knocks for important players in international break. It is likely that those players will return for the game against PSV Eindhoven. The German Champions will be without veteran winger Franck Ribery. The Italian manager gave an update over fitness of certain players in his press conference.

Cocu’s team has been wasteful infront of the goal this season. They still have dangerous players who can hurt Bayern on Wednesday. The De Jong brother can linkup well in the final third to test the Bayern defenders. PSV have been fielding a 5-3-2 formation in Champions League. Ancelloti will be hoping his star forwards to break this five man defence.
