Three key battles to watch out when Bayern Munich face Barcelona in CL.

The quarter-final encounter between Paris-Saint Germain and Atalanta was thrilling on Wednesday. The biggest tie of the round is set to take place on Friday as Bayern Munich and Barcelona go head to head at Estadio da Luz on Friday.

Both clubs have enjoyed great history in the Champions League, winning the trophy five times. Die Roten looks to be the in-form team going into this game since Barcelona endured a tough end to the domestic campaign. However, Barcelona can never be ruled out with Lionel Messi in their squad.

Apart from Messi, there will be many star players gracing the pitch on Friday. Die Roten has enjoyed flawless performances in the Champions this tenure. They reached quarter-finals after two dominant performances against Chelsea, winning the tie 7-1 on aggregate score.

Hansi Flick will have to come up with another tactical masterclass to book a place in the semi-finals. The German manager will also have to be astute with his in-game management to outwit Quique Setien. Along with the tactical battle between two managers, there will be few individual duels on the pitch that will have a big say on the result of this game.
